Eddy completed his medical training in Trinity College, University of Dublin in 2012 and completed his internship in Drogheda, Ireland.
In 2013, he moved to Perth and worked in various hospital settings, including metropolitan and rural hospitals, for the next 8 years. Throughout his career, he has primarily focused on surgery, with a sizeable time spent in General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Orthopaedics. Recently, he spent his first year of GP Training split between General Medicine and Emergency Medicine, enabling him to handle both acute and chronic adult and pediatric conditions. He commenced his GP Training in Eaton and Australian Medical Centres, outside of Bunbury and completed his second year in Two Rocks Medical Centre.
Edward met his wife, Sheau, while working at the Royal Perth Hospital, and they have a son named Elliott together.
Given his extensive experience in surgery, Edward has a keen interest in Skin Cancer Medicine and Surgery.He also takes an keen interest in Women’s Health, Paediatric Medicine, and Chronic Disease Management, which he regards these as fundamental aspects of General Practice.
